Rev. Michael Ricci-Roberts, Pastor in the Global Methodist Church, Ordained Elder February 14, 2026 in Frisco, Texas. Submitted application to join the Global Methodist Church in May 2024 was accepted and approved to serve as Pulpit Supply Clergy. In the Global Methodist Church he was approved and appointed on September 1, 2024 to Greens Creek Methodist, Global Methodist Church.

 

Before his call into ministry as clergy he was employed in the Plastics Industry for thirty-three years as Tool & Die, and Mold Designer while building tooling for production in Arkansas and Texas.

 

Rev Ricci-Roberts clergy education was at Perkins School of Theology, SMU Dallas over five years taking all classes for Course of Study that was required for a Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church.  January through May 2009 he took Clinical Pastoral Care at Wesley Medical Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. That provide him with 500 hours as Chaplin training at the Regional Trauma Hospital.  He served as Clergy during five years at El Dorado Correction Factuality while providing ministry with the Kairos ministry.    In May of 2010, he was approved as Associate Member of the United Methodist Church serving many local churches until retirement in June 2022.

 

Rev Ricci-Roberts Spiritual Awakening happened during a weekly Disciple I Bible Study September 1988 through May 1989.  Following his New Birth he became a Local Lay Speaker, Certified Lay Speaker, Leader for the Inquires Classes on Beliefs of the UMC at Allen FUMC, TX.  He facilitated seven Disciple I Classes over twelve years. His training to become a Disciple I Facilitator was with Bishop Richard Wilke and Rev. Richard “Dick”  Murray, Professor Emeritus at Perkins, in July 1989.  He attended Rev. Richard “Dick” Murray class during Laity Week in 1991 and taught twenty-one courses of Lay Speaking in two district of the North Texas Conference between 1990 through May 2003. He served as the District Director of Lay Speaking Ministries for the Dallas North District of the North Texas Conference.
